BRIEF
To design a promotional poster that translates the artist’s music visually, to promote their upcoming performance.
DESIGN THINKING
After listening to Hauschka’s album multiple times and analyzing the message behind it came time to visually re-interpret them. The process required blind drawings, sketching, painting and mark-making.
RESULT
The final iteration of this poster used one sheet of print paper, a lighter, and an image scanner. Working with such elements to create this poster emphasized the raw and experimental sounds heard in Hauschka's album. The use of typography and muted colors is reminiscent of his previous album and remains cohesive with his brand image.
