BRIEF

The project’s ethos relies on offering a product that considers all parts of its life cycle. From its ownership to its decomposition, the goal is to ensure every product component has been carefully thought of, in terms

of sustainability.

DESIGN THINKING

The product itself is be comprised of two primary elements. The first is a felted soap that will be conducted based on ingredient research and its relationship with human skin. Secondly, they will be tightly packaged in a textile bag that will act as a transportation bag, a shower soap holder and as a tag with instructions on how to use the product.

RESULT

The soaps are also made of all-natural materials that are locally sourced. Felting was incorporated for the many benefits it offers, but also because it increases the soap’s longevity, thereby decreasing the soap consumption rate. As for the product itself, the bag is versatile as it can be used as a toiletry bag or eventually as a tote bag.
